Fireflies and Figments was the pilot project for a group called GCR, which aimed to give aspiring game developers the full studio experience as we attempted to put out a vertical slice/proof of concept inside of six months. The organization was still working out its kinks and, as such, the final project was not what we’d hoped. But, it still provided invaluable experience for me as a writer, narrative designer, and game designer, and was my first opportunity to work in-engine in a Unity Project on something beyond a hobby level.
